The Proposal

John decided to propose to me on christmas day 2007. We were hosting christmas day at our new house and my whole family was over for christmas lunch. After lunch we all sat down and were giving out presents, we got to the end of them and i was sitting there feeling very confused because i hadnt gotten anything from john yet. Then all of a sudden, john stands up in front of everyone, pulls me over and starts cuddling me. He makes a big speach to everyone about how we had been together for about 2 years now,have been through alot of good and bad times together and how totally inlove with me he was. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was completely speechless. I only just managed to grunt out a yes between the "oh my gods" that wouldnt stop coming out of my mouth, before going weak at the knee's and falling on top of him :P It was at this point where absolutely everyone one started crying, especially me and john. As it turns out, he had told a few people about it before he asked me, so both my mother and our house mate alice were waiting on cue with the camera's.
