How We Met
Well, first off, this is us :
Unfortunately for us, the way we met isnt exactly the most romantic. The story starts with me dating a guy named AJ, whom at the time i was completely obsessed with. Now AJ Happened to have a cousin called meg, whom he was very close to and (yes you guessed it), Meg was with a rather dashing boy named John. Now im not going to go into huge amounts of detail as I do not want to offend if certain people stumble across my site, so here is the shortened version.
John and i became mutual friends as the four of us would always run into each other in town and at functions etc, and john would always offer to give us a lift home.There was always a little bit of friendly flirting between us, but that was where it stayed. Now there came a point where we discovered that our partners Aj and meg werent exactly the most faithful of people and had both been sleeping around on us and so the relationships ended. As fate would have it, one night shortly after break-ups, we ran into each other at a night club in town. We had a bit of a drink and a dance, and at the end of the night john gave my friend and I a lift home, but didnt leave until we had exchanged numbers. From that point on john and I became great friends. We went out together, gave each other moral support, he even stayed to keep me company when AJ came over for the last time to drop off the last of the things i had left at his house. We both saw other people but the chemistry between us eventually became too strong, and so we gave in.
I still find it funny thinking about the night we had our first kiss, john was trying to do the "lets be friends thing" with meg, and since i was friends with her too the three of us went out together. We kisses in front of the K-box on hindly street while waiting for her to show up, and then we spent the rest of the night trying to keep our hands off each other so we could keep it from meg. But we werent very good at keeping the secret and eventually she discovered that we were together. She hit the roof and was screaming at both of us, and then later tried to pretend that she was pregnant with his child to get him to stay with her. I'm pretty sure that was the last time we spoke to meg. When i think of one of the last things AJ ever said to me it really does make me giggle, he had heard that john and i were becoming good friends, and the comment he made to me was something along the lines of "If your not careful your going to end up with an asian boyfriend with a fast car". Lol. If only he knew how right he was!
now although this was all very depressing at the time, john and i both learned from those relationships and have never been happier since :)
